I’m Nicole, a 37-year-old mom, wife, dreamer, and creative and sensitive soul. I share my motherhood journey via my blog. It centres on raising my children – Kirsten and Kieran or (K Squared) through modern parenting as little “free-lings” โ i.e. raising my free-range kids!
I am a Joburg girl, more specifically, an East-Rander. However, I am originally from Cape Town, and we made our way back to the mother city more than six years ago.ย
Motherhood is the most remarkable journey and something that didn’t come easy. Still, it is the most rewarding and joyous part of my life. I’m a free-range mom (you’ll hear me use this a lot).
I believe in children being free to discover who they are. I want them to express themselves as they wish. This has gifted me with two very creative, fun, confident, sweet-natured children.
I am married to my soul mate; we have been together for almost 20 years and married for 11 years. We are polar opposites, but we’re magnetically drawn to one another.
I love reading (too much, if I’m honest. I love baking, crafting, writing, photography, content creation, K-Dramas, Korean food and connecting with other moms via loads of caffeine. I spend most of my time at my PC, passionately living out my day job, which is editing photos and videos โ call it my happy place!
