Preventative care benefits include paediatric vaccines according to the state-recommended programme. Bestmed Tempo wellness programme benefits, available across all benefit options, include consultations with a nutritionist, occupational therapist and biokineticist.
Preventative care benefits
The Scheme funds all paediatric immunisations according to the state-recommended programme on all benefit options except Beat1 and Beat1 Network. Vaccines include immunisation against:
- polio
- tuberculosis
- pneumococcus
- rotavirus
- hepatitis A and B
- diphtheria
- Haemophilus influenzae type B
- pertussis
- tetanus
- measles
- chicken pox
- typhoid fever
- cholera
- meningitis
- HPV (for females 9 to 26 years old)
