Competition Terms and Conditions 

Please read these competition rules carefully.
1. The “Pack Your Suitcase with Bestmed” Competition is organised and run by MamaMagic, a division of Exposure Marketing and Communication.

2. All finalists will be announced on Exposure Marketing and Communication’s digital platforms and are chosen at the sole discretion of Exposure Marketing and Communication.

3. This competition is open to persons who register on the MamaMagic Website.

3.1. In order to automatically enter into the Pack Your Suitcase with Bestmed Competition (“the Competition”) you must adhere to the below conditions:

3.1.1. The entrant representing the family must be 18 years or older;

3.1.2. Each entrant family must have at least one child between the ages of 0 (zero) and 5 (five) years of age, with no children older than 12 (twelve) in addition to at most two major adults;

3.1.3. Should you wish to invite any other members of your family, you will be liable for all their costs; and

3.1.4. MamaMagic, Exposure Marketing and Communication or Bestmed will not accept any liability in as far as the prize is concerned and the use of the prize.

3.2. By ticking the above box, you confirm that you qualify according to the above conditions of entry and will become an entrant in the aforementioned competition.

4. No director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to MamaMagic, Exposure Marketing and Communication, MamaMagic Baby Expo exhibitors and main prize sponsors or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Exposure Marketing and Communication, or associated promotion companies, or a supplier of goods and/or services in connection with the competition, or their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members, may participate in the competition and are prohibited from entering the competition. The competition is not open for entry by or on behalf of a company, close corporation or similar juristic person or legal entity.

5. The competition is valid in South Africa only.
6. As an entrant in the Competition, the family must satisfy the following criteria:

6.1. The Competition entrants must:

6.1.1. Be a family of a maximum of 4 (four) members, any additional family members and their costs therein will be attracted to the winner;

6.1.2. Reside in the Republic of South Africa;

6.1.3. All members of the winning family must be in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and/or a valid permanent residence permit;

6.1.4. All be eligible to travel and not have a criminal warrant, and/or health issues which may prohibit / prevent them to travel;

6.2. The family members elected to travel with the winner must include the following:

6.2.1. At least two members of the entrant family must be between the ages of 0 and 12 years of age, with one under the age of 5 years; and

6.2.2. At most two members of the entrant family must be 18 (eighteen) years or older, single parents are by no means excluded.

6.3. In order to qualify and be selected as a competition finalist, the monthly entry challenge must be completed of which the details will be provided to all entrants on the MammaMagic website or affiliated social media platforms.

6.4. All entrants are required to have active social media accounts on one or more of the following social media platforms:

6.5. Facebook;

6.6. Instagram; and / or

6.7. Twitter.

7. One lucky family entrant will stand a chance of winning a trip for a family of 4 (four) to the destination as chosen by Exposure Marketing and Communication to the value of R 50 000.00 (Fifty Thousand Rand), VAT inclusive.

8. The holiday package must be redeemed within four months from the announcement of the winner.

9. The holiday package includes return economy class domestic flights, including airport taxes; return airport shuttle transfer to and from the airport to and from the winning destination; 3 (three) nights’ accommodation included in the holiday package for a family of 4 sharing; a food allowance is provided to cover meals at the hotel. Any additional meals or liquor shall be for the winner’s account.

10. The holiday package excludes items of a personal nature; any sightseeing and / or excursion(s) that are not part of the holiday package; alcoholic drinks; medical and travel insurance; additional spending money; any additional extras are to be settled by the prize winner; any changes made to the itinerary by the winner, which results in costs being incurred such as change of flights, additional accommodation and so on is also excluded from the holiday package shall be at the winner’s expense.

11. The Competition will run from June 2021 to 31 December 2021.

12. On a monthly basis, from the commencement date to the closing date, an entrant family will be chosen as a finalist family.

13. Each of the family finalists will receive a hamper sourced by Exposure Marketing and Communication. The said finalist family will be entered into the draw to take place in January 2022.

14. No late entries will be accepted. Exposure Marketing and Communication will NOT be held responsible for any late entries nor will any participant be eligible for any prize, if such a participant has not complied with the entry terms and conditions.

15. All finalists will be announced on Exposure Marketing and Communication’s digital platforms and are chosen at the sole discretion of Exposure Marketing and Communication.

16. Each finalist is required to be available either online or physically for the winner announcement ceremony to take place in January 2022.

17. The final prize for the Competition is available to 4 (four) family members.

18. As part of the selection requirements to become a finalist for the Competition, all finalists must agree to feature on the Exposure Marketing and Communication’s digital platforms.

19. In consideration of this, Exposure Marketing and Communication has publishing rights over the information, photographs and other finalist specific content used. In this regard all participants agree that their personal information may be utilized and that they hereby consent to such use by Exposure Marketing and Communication.

20. An independent person shall oversee and certify the conducting of the competition selection process.

21. The prizes cannot be redeemed for any other item or items to the equivalent value.

22. The prizes are exclusively for the winners and are neither transferable nor exchangeable.

23. Failure to comply with any of these terms and conditions will result in immediate forfeiture of the prize.

24. Should we believe that any entrant has breached any of these terms and conditions, we will be entitled, but not obliged, to exercise any rights we may have in law and to respond to such breach and/or any complaint lodged against the entrant in one of the following manners:

24.1. Issue a warning;

24.2. Respond to the matter in any other manner deemed appropriate by Exposure Marketing and Communication; and

24.3. Disqualify the entrant from the competition.

25. Exposure Marketing and Communication reserves the right to extend, shorten or suspend the time period of the Competition, whenever it should so choose due to technical, commercial, or operational reasons, or public interest, or due to events beyond its control or generally for any reason whatsoever within its sole discretion.

26. In the event that the time period of the Competition is extended, shortened or suspended, participants will be notified by Exposure Marketing and Communication thereof in a manner that is expedient and as soon as reasonably possible.

27. Any participant who has been selected as a winner, prior to any suspension or shortening of the Competition will remain eligible to receive the prize that has been awarded to them in accordance with these rules.

28. Exposure Marketing and Communication reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the competition in whole or in part, at our sole discretion, if it believes that the Competition is not capable of being conducted as specified in these terms and conditions or in any other cause that is beyond our reasonable control which we feel could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality, or normal course of the Competition.

29. Exposure Marketing and Communication reserves the right to terminate the Competition immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of Exposure Marketing and Communication for any reason whatsoever.

30. Notice of such termination shall be published on the Competition website. In such an event, any participant waives any rights that she may have / purported to have in terms of the Competition and acknowledges that she will have no recourse against Exposure Marketing and Communication whatsoever.

31. However, any participant who has been selected as a winner prior to the termination of the Competition will remain eligible to receive the prize that has been awarded to her/him in accordance with these rules.

32. The Competition, its prizes and any rules or conditions of the Competition may be amended, upon reasonable notification by Exposure Marketing and Communication at any time during the Competition and will be applied and interpreted at the sole discretion of Exposure Marketing and Communication. Notice of any amendment shall be published on the Competition website.

33. In the event that the Competition, its prizes or any rules or conditions of the competition are amended in terms of the above clause, such amended Competition, prizes, rules or conditions shall become effective immediately upon being amended or on such date as may be determined by Exposure Marketing and Communication. Any participant which has been selected as a winner prior to the amendment of the competition, its prizes, rules or conditions will remain eligible to receive the prize that has been awarded to him or her in accordance with the rules that were in force on the date that he or she was selected as a winner.

34. No participant shall have any recourse or claim against Exposure Marketing and Communication, any of its members, employees, consultants or anyone affiliated with it as a result of any amendment of the Competition, prizes, rules, terms or conditions.

35. Any risk related to the prize transfers from Exposure Marketing and Communication to the winner upon receipt of the prize by the winner. The prize winner accepts the prize at her own risk.

36. The winner will be required to sign a form acknowledging receipt of the prize when claiming the prize. Exposure Marketing and Communication shall NOT be liable for any damage, death, loss or injury resulting from the prize.

37. Exposure Marketing and Communication will NOT accept any liability for entries not received as a result of technical difficulties or failure on the part of the cellular or internet service provider to deliver the said Competition entry.

38. Exposure Marketing and Communication may request the winner to allow her/his images and/or particulars to be used or published in relevant marketing media and may also request the winner to participate in any marketing activities. However, the winner may decline such invitation to do so.

39. By entering this Competition, participants agree to receive future promotional advertising material relating to Exposure Marketing and Communication or the prize sponsors and their products. However, participants may refuse to accept, block or ask that such promotional advertising be ceased at any time.

40. By their participation, the entrant and winning family indemnify, defend and hold harmless any director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or consultant to MamaMagic, Exposure Marketing and Communication (hereinafter referred to as “the Released Parties”) against any and all costs, expenses, damages, claims, judgments, losses, and/or liabilities (including attorney fees) arising directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the Released Parties due to bodily injury, death, loss of use, monetary loss, or any other injury from or specifically related to COVID-19, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise.

41. Should any of the members of the winning family be unable to travel as a result of COVID-19, Exposure Marketing and Communication will not be held liable for any wasted costs in this regard.

42. By entering into this Competition, all registrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

43. All information relating to this Competition and published on any promotional material will form part of these terms and conditions of entry.

44. The judges’ decision in choosing the winner is final and binding.

45. No correspondence will be entered into.

46. By entering this Competition, the participant agrees to the aforementioned terms and conditions.

Pampers Premium Care Standard Competition Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:
1. Competition entries are open to South African residents only.
2. Competitions are not open to employees of Exposure Marketing, sponsors, advertisers, their immediate families and agencies.

Rules:
1. Your entry into the competition constitutes your binding acceptance of the terms and conditions of the competition stated here.
2. The competition will run for the month of May 2021.
3. At the conclusion of the competition period, a thousand (1 000) lucky entrants stand a chance of winning one (1) R75 product voucher to use on a Pampers Premium Care Product via takealot.com
4. Voucher winners are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Voucher winners will be notified via email or SMS from MamaMagic.
6. Entrants are allowed one valid entry.
7. Vouchers are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
8. Only entries received during the competition period as stipulated in clause 2 above will qualify as potential winners.
9. Vouchers awarded are the responsibility of the competition sponsor.
10. Vouchers are valid for a limited time period. Please refer to the voucher for the period of validity.
11. Vouchers cannot be re-issued should they expire or resent if they are returned.
12. You hereby warrant that you are authorised to consent to MamaMagic utilising the personal information supplied by you – may it be in writing, electronic or in picture format.
13. You hereby agree that any form of misleading MamaMagic, its organisers, employees, directors, sub-contractors or sponsors will lead to the immediate disqualification of your entry.
14. We may require you to provide us with additional information and documentation as we may reasonably require in order to process, confirm and facilitate your acceptance and/or use of a voucher. If you refuse to provide us with the requested information or documentation, you will forfeit the voucher.
15. We reserve the right to forward contact details of entrants to the competition sponsors.
16. All entrants agree to receive further promotional material from Exposure Marketing. If you do not want to receive further communication, please ensure that you unsubscribe to any email newsletters or SMS’s that you may receive.
17. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these rules. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressors.

General:

2. Exposure Marketing reserves the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice should it be challenged, stopped or declared or become unlawful.

MamaMagic Milestones Standard Competition Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:

  1. Competition entries are open to South African residents only.
  2. Competitions are not open to employees of Exposure Marketing or Baby City, sponsors, advertisers, their immediate families and agencies.

 

Rules:

  1. Your entry into the competition constitutes your binding acceptance of the terms and conditions of the competition stated here.
  2. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. By submitting a picture/video into this competition, you agree to give us permission to publish this photo on any or all of our digital and print platforms, including MamaMagic Milestones, the MamaMagic website and the MamaMagic Social Media pages.
  4. If you enter any picture/video of a minor (child under the age of 18) into the competition, you agree to being the legal guardian/parent of the child and you have the permission to submit/share that photo/video.
  5. Winners will be notified on social media and/or email to arrange delivery of the prize.
  6. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  7. Prizes awarded are the responsibility of the competition sponsors.
  8. Prizes must be claimed within one year from date of issue they appear in and cannot be re-issued should they expire or resent if they are returned.
  9. By entering this competition, you authorise MamaMagic to publish a photo and / or personal information related to the child/entrant entered by you.
  10. You hereby warrant that you are authorised to consent to MamaMagic utilising the personal information supplied by you – may it be in writing, electronic or in picture format.
  11. You warrant that you are the biological parent and/or guardian of the child so entered in the competition. MamaMagic reserves the right to request further proof of same as well as your your authority to act on behalf of any minor’s behalf.
  12. You hereby agree that any form of misleading MamaMagic, its organisers, employees, directors, sub-contractors or sponsors will lead to the immediate disqualificatoin of the child.
  13. You further agree that MamaMagic will make your details available to any parent wishing to insititute legal proceedings agasint you.
  14. We may require you to provide us with additional information and documentation as we may reasonably require in order to process, confirm and facilitate your acceptance and/or use of a prize. If you refuse to provide us with the requested information or documentation, you will forfeit the prize.
